This Holiday Season, Give to Empower our Academy Hub Student Writers

One World has launched a new afterschool program to eliminate transportation barriers for our highest-need students in Wards 7 and 8. Instead of having them travel over an hour to our central location, our experienced teachers lead an additional program for students in their neighborhood. The Academy Hub is currently being hosted at Friendship Southeast Public Charter School.

Your contribution enables us to reach all students—even those who have difficulty attending high-quality afterschool programs. Research shows that structured out-of-school time activities set students up for success in school, college, and their future careers. Give to students today to help them become leaders of tomorrow.

More Ways to Give

• Donor-advised fund: A donor-advised fund (DAF) is an investment account intended to support charitable organizations you care about. You can recommend One World Education for a grant to your financial advisor at your community foundation or financial institution. Tax ID: 20-8624702.
• Check: Please contact us for the mailing address to send a donation by check.
• Give by ACH: If you wish to send your donation to One World Education using an ACH payment or wire transfer, please contact us to obtain banking information for your transfer.
• Employer Match: Many companies will match your donation to double your impact.
• Tribute: Recognize a special person or the memory of a loved one by giving in their honor. Your honoree (if present) will receive an email notification or a handwritten thank you card if their contact information is provided.
• IRA Contributions: If you are 70½ or older, you may make a gift to One World Education directly from your IRA to satisfy part or all of your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year.
• Host a Fundraiser: Hosting a fundraiser for One World Education is fun! You can host a trivia night at work, a birthday fundraiser on Facebook, run a race for us, or something unique to you.
