HOW WE'RE PREPARING | WHAT YOUR DONATION WILL PAY FOR

5,000 DC students are depending on One World to be 100% remote learning-ready to start the school year. Every donation and sponsorship will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling your impact!

HOW WE’RE PREPARING

This campaign will ensure that 100% of our K12 programming is remote-learning ready for the 2021 school year, and shortly thereafter for adult learners. The project includes these components:

Teacher Portal - The Portal will host slide decks (PowerPoints) and other resources for each lesson, whether in class or remote.

Enhanced Student Journals - Remote learning requires resources that foster parental assistance and self-guided learning. A graphic design firm will make One World Journals more intuitive, personalized, and engaging.

Student Videos - To build social-emotional learning and extend helpful suggestions through- out the writing process veteran speaking artists will construct student videos for every lesson.

Remote Learning Study - An independent evaluator will study One World’s remote learning activities to guide continual improvement and to establish best practices for the education sector.
